A Day in the Life...

Jeff and I both uploaded the pictures we have taken on our phones over the last month or so, and I found some gems!  Because the big camera doesn't always travel with us on a daily basis, these pictures are some of the best at capturing Eli's personality.  Too bad the quality isn't the best...  Enjoy!

Sleeping peacefully.
Enjoying dinner al fresco.  Too bad he didn't actually eat any of it!
Jammin with daddy.
Loving on his sweet and tiny new friend Elanor.
So proud of himself for standing.
Getting in his daily back stretches, just like dad!
Ready for the Zoo Run.
Post-run visit to the fire truck.
Keeping score.

Best buds.  This is one of my favorite pictures of all time.

This is how Eli spent the Easter service -- having a blast in the cry room at the back of the sanctuary.
Working on his rhythm at music class.
E does not, and never has, taken a pacifier, but lately he likes chewing on them like teething toys.  It's so funny to see a pacifier hanging out of his mouth!
"Hey guys, I caught a big one!"
Yum!  He likes these baby cheese puffs almost as much as I do...

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day!  Look at the sweet gifts E made for me at school.  I will keep these forever!

I made Eli take some pictures with me to document the occasion.  I don't think he minded one bit -- this kid likes the camera.

Photo Session

These pictures are from Easter.  Thank goodness Eli's Granddaddy is a photography pro -- we always get so many great pictures!  I think he took nearly 300 that day.  Here are just a few.

It was a constant battle (that we lost) trying to keep the grass out of his mouth.

Easter Festivities

I've gotten a little behind on the blog lately, but am going to try to catch up!  Over the past 3 weeks or so, we have all been sick multiple times.  I guess that just goes along with having a baby in daycare.

Back to April, with lots of pictures...

We were really excited to be able to attend the TCU Alumni Easter Egg Hunt this year.  Eli didn't quite understand the "hunting for eggs" concept, but he liked chewing on them and eating the grass!  Grandma T and Poppy came with us, and we also met up with Quinn, Kristen and Annie.  Annie is getting ready for a baby brother, so she practiced with Eli!

He could have cuddled with that Easter Bunny all day!

Loving his new swing in the backyard!
We had a wonderful, relaxing Easter weekend in Round Rock.  Eli loved his Easter baskets!  That weekend, Eli started cutting his first tooth, at over 8 months old.  Since Easter, he has gotten 4 teeth (2 bottom, 2 top)!

Another new swing at his grandparents house.  Lucky kid!
