Birth Days and Birthdays

Eli has a new cousin!!  On January 19, Savannah was born.  She is a beauty, with a full head of dark hair!  Thomas and Nicole are such proud parents.  We already love her very much, and Eli is excited about having another playmate. 

 

Also in January, Jeff and I both celebrated our 30th birthdays.  It was fun to celebrate with our baby boy! 

Happy birthday Daddy!  Not sure if he wanted the cake or the candles.  Either way, he likes birthdays!

First Meal

On January 19, Eli had his first "solid" food -- rice cereal.  YUM!  He was very skeptical at first, but started liking it after just a few bites.  Now he gets excited as soon as we put him in his high chair at night.

He made such a mess with the cereal that Eli needed a nice, long soak in the tub right after dinner. 

Those toes are never far from his mouth these days . . .
